Couldn't film this weekend

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and welcome back to another blog. Recently I competed in a district tournament for wrestling and ended up qualifying for regionals. This ultimately means I won't be able to film next weekend. I can film this weekend and continue my team's work, but there's an issue. Kazmin, the other actor in the film is going on vacation this weekend. He said he was going to Orlando and he wouldn't be back till the following  Monday. This is unfortunate because I was able to film this weekend. Usually, I have wrestling tournaments on the weekends but this week it was on a Tuesday so I was free. My other group member, Noura, is pretty flexible with her schedule so she came up with a solution. She said that filming should be done in shorter pieces throughout the week. This way I will ultimately be able to have more of an open schedule and film as needed. In the meantime of not filming, I've been working on other things. Since I got the opening scene done with my group, I've been working with them via zoom to edit it. This was easier for the group because this didn't require us to meet up. I forgot t to mention that everyone on the team lives far away from each other. Kazmin lives very west, Naura lives North, and I live south of Broward County. This makes filming much more difficult. My group and I handle this type of adversary well though. I have been struggling in my studies regarding school and I've been trying to get my grades up. It's been really hard because I put in the work but it hasn't been working out. I will do my best and look on the bright side. This is Hunter Pangia, signing out. Peace.

Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
