Sounds
Sounds play a crucial part in action films. Without the ambient sound, sound effects, quick dialogue, and diegetic sound there wouldn't be a film. All the loud bangs, bams, and booms is what captures the audiences attention. They also need a compelling high pace soundtrack to engage the fighting scenes.
Ex: Creed 2
We really enjoy the costumes, and sound techniques the most in action films. The costumes are something different and the sound just elevates all of the action taking place. We don't really have anything to not like about action films, they are great. Action films usually go hand in hand with suspense because there are always techniques used to set up the action film. Action films are all about action and using tracking shots is crucial to make sure they can allow the audible to follow along with what is happening. We don't enjoy the actors too much however because sometimes in action films, it can be childish. With the technology we have now however, action films have been evolving more and more and taking over all genres. This genre really prioritizes editing and effects to make sure it's appealing to the eye.
