Getting to work

Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia through the thick and thin, clear and smog and welcome back to another blog. On this journey to begin the creation of this amazing film I will be documenting my personal progression along with what my group is doing. It is already February and I am a little behind on the plan with my group. My group and I have a story set and what it is all of us want to use for the short film. One issue that I have noticed is that I haven't purchased or created any props yet. Without props I ultimately can't begin the filming process. In the meantime I have been plotting my ultimate methods to succeed in the greatest film in the history of short films. I have had a hard time getting my work done which has delayed the filming process. I have been involved in wrestling and my days have been filled. On weekends when I want to start filming I always have some other type of school work to do. Nonetheless I am so excited to see what I am capable of doing with my film. Kazmin and Naura have been working harder than me and I need to step it up for them. They want to film but I'm always too busy. If I had to rank how i'm feeling confidence wise I would give it a 6/10. I like what I have going. I like my plan. I like my vision. The soul issue of this rate of production is that I haven't done much work towards this film at all. It's okay though! I have plenty of time and as long as I start getting to work I will be ok! I am capable of doing this ! I think I've talked enough for one blog. I will keep working and keep everyone updated. This is Hunter Pangia Signing out.

Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
