Filming and check ups

 Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog. It was a rough weekend of little filming but I was finally able to film some more of the final task with my group today. Before all of this, I was making sure my projects would be visible to Cambridge, which is where I'm submitting my final task. It didn't t take much time to be honest and after I had some discussions with my team. Naura, Kaz, and I wanted to see if it was possible to get some filming in after school today. Little did all of us know, filming was possible today! Boom!  After school, I drove Kaz and Naura to where the main part of the filming would be done. This place would be my home. The weather was nice and cool so all of us filmed some nice scenes in my backyard. I was able to get the scenes where Kazmin and I are flourishing in the illegal business of selling drugs that were in. I used some of my Dad's bee pollen to mimic what a drug may look like because obviously there aren't any real drugs in the film. The team and I got hungry so I went with them and got some food to take a nice break. After this, I went back to the house with my team, and some more of the filming was done. The only issue with today is that the filming was done towards the evening so I had to cut the film session a little sooner than I had hoped. My Mom and Dad were a great help in making sure I had everything I needed to be able to film with my group today. I also want to thank my group for being there. I know it's hard to work around different schedules so I was grateful to have time to film with them today. It was a good day of work and I'm excited to keep working and see what this project turns out to be! This is Hunter Pangia and I'll see everyone with my next blog. Peace.

Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
