Meet the group!

 Hey everyone! This is Hunter Pangia signing in and I hope everyone is having a great day! In today's blog I will be introducing you to my new group! Well when I say group I mean more of a trio. Last year my group in all honesty didn't do any of the work and that was a large problem I've had. I took the entire load of the work and it put me in large amounts of stress. This year I need someone that I can  trust. I need someone that I know well. I need someone who is willing to work. Most people have neglected me and these people from their groups so that motivated me to partner up with these people even more. I want me and these people  to blow everyone else's short film out of the water. Anyways these people are Nora and Kazmin Foster. I've known Kaz for years and have built a strong bond through football. I know that are group is small but me and Kazmin and Nora are going to make it work. Kazmin is hard working, get's his work done, and has a passion when he wants to achieve a goal. I have full trust in Kazmin because he's my friend but sometimes friends don't work well together when working on a rigorous task. However in this situation, I've worked with Kazmin in multiple projects previously. Kazmin and I have dominated all of those projects additionally. I'm excited for the future to see what me Nora and Kazmin are capable of. I hope everyone has enjoyed this blog and this is Hunter Pangia signing out. Bye!

Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
