Finished Filming!
Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia signing in and welcome back to another blog. In today's blog, I'll be talking about day 2 of the filming process, the final day, and how it went. I called everyone the night before to make sure they will be able to make it to Zane's house at around 12 the next day. Of course, some people bailed on me last minute including two of my group members but luckily I had backup. I made sure Robert was coming because he was the one who was going to film so that was important. The next day when I got to the filming location at Zane's house I showed up right around when Robert did and from there all of us started to set up for the second part of filming. I already finished all of my scenes in the garage so now it was time for the main part of the opening sequence. I had to jump rope and do my own dialogue and it took a while because I kept laughing but Robert got a beautiful long shot of me jump roping talking to my Coach, Zane, who was now played by my back up, Michelle, who did a fantastic job of fulfilling the roll. I actually believe Robert and I got some great shots, for example for the phone call scene, Robert captured a beautiful close-up on the phone. The real Zane acted out as Cayden and had some great dialogue as well. I then had to do a running scene and I came up with a great idea to acquire the tracking shot. Zane used his mom car and Robert was hanging out of the car in order to track me and the same was done to get Zane's or Cayden's tracking shot. It turned out to look beautiful and I can't wait to see it edited. I thought the filming process overall was a fantastic time and after all of that stress, it turned out to work out better than I expected. My favorite part was when I was in the garage for day one because the lighting was just perfect and the over the shoulder shot of me hitting the bag was filled with action and emotion. I am very grateful for my friend Zane to help me out. Robert did a great job of getting the shot and the transitions are going to turn out great. For example, an action match shot was done when me working out transitions to Zane working out and it is going to look great. The job is not finished and I'm excited to share the finished product. This is Hunter Pangia clocking out.
