Filming has started

Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia signing in and welcome back to another blog! It has finally happened, my group and I have finally started our filming process. Day 1 was great and I will be explaining what has been achieved. Getting to the location was pretty easy for the most part. My group and I were able to film half of the scenes. Setting up the cameras went pretty smooth since there was no rush to film. Robert brought everything that was necessary and was ready as well as Billy. I brought the storyboard with me so I could ensure the angles matched what I was filming. It was going pretty well in the beginning. I had the picture frame and it took a lot of takes to get the scene of me knocking it off because it had to be a close-up shot. The lighting also didn't rise to my expectations so a light had to be used so the camera could capture every shot at it's highest frame. The script was projected to go as planned, the only issue was that Cayden wasn't there. It worked out though because he's needed for the later scenes and I only got through half of the filming. I had all of the actors I needed for the day me and Zane. Zane fitted into the costume really nicely as well as I did. The diegetic sound with in the film sounds spectacular, especially in the punching bag scene when I was hitting it with the boxing gloves. The main issue that persisted was trying to get the lighting right. Robert said that he'll be able to edit the brightness and use filters to make the film appear dark, setting the tone. I had a lot of fun punching the bag and acting out as someone I wish to be in the future. When the garage opened and it was just Zane standing there I couldn't stop laughing. It took like at least 10 takes to get that down because the garage was so slow and awkward moving up. My group and I stopped there and filming will continue in a few days. That wraps up another blogs and this is Hunter Pangia, clocking out.
