Track day

Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia signing in and welcome back to another blog! In today's blog I will be  evaluating my adventure with track this week. This week for track is counties which is a way you can qualify for the state championship. This is my first year doing track so I'm a little confused as to what has to be done or what is going to happen for this counties. Tomorrow is the first meet and the top 3 get to advance to the county finals which is Friday. This is a great time to have finals because there is no school for us due or spring break. In the meantime I will be attending track practice to prepare for such a meet. Due to this expedition, I will not have the time to work on the production for my opening sequence. My other team members will be taking initiative to make sure everything stays on route in my absence. I trust in my team to push themselves to elevate the work that my group and I do. I'm excited for this track meet and I'm hoping I can get a new personal record for discus as well as shot put as well. I usually would run in the meet but I'm not the best so that's why I'm not in the lineup for this meet. To prepare for this meet I have to ensure that my mind is clear like glass, soft like a sleek pillow, and focused like a lion waiting on it's prey. There is also a lot of training that goes into track too. For field, it's a necessity to make sure I have flexible and explosive hips. To do so I am coached to do drills for the hip flexors such as hip bridges and pivots with a resistance band. To have explosive hips I have to do things like lift heavy weights. Such complexes include deadlifts, hip Bridges with heavy weights, and low-depth squats. All of these workouts either directly or indirectly hips. Something I have invested in is an app called myfitnesspal this app tracks my macros and calories and sets goals. This will help me achieve my fitness goals as well as giving me a clearer mind for my final task. Well that wraps up another blog and this is Hunter Pangia clocking out.
