My filming got cancelled...

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia signing in and welcome back to another blog! If you couldn't tell by the title, my group and I were supposed to film today. Unfortunately, things change which ultimately led me to deciding to cancel the whole operation for today. I made sure everything was all good to film at Zane's house which was our location to film. I was also going to sleep over at his house the night prior so I didn't have to find a ride the following day. He had agreed to this a countless amount of times and supposedly he claimed to not know I was coming. I asked and asked to make sure but he wasn't even home, so I decided I could find a ride to his house tomorrow which wasn't a big deal. He told me I had to be out by 4:15 pm so I asked if it was cool if I came a bit earlier, like 12:30 pm and he said perfect. I also had a problem of having no one to act as Cayden and my friend Trevor who said he would do it cancelled on me as well. I made countless phone calls and my friend Luke agreed to take his role so I thought all was good. When I was on the phone with him I discovered Zane wasn't even going to be at his house tomorrow at the time he said was perfect, so I agreed to come at 1:30 so he could do whatever he had to do, well wanted to do because he was going mini golfing. I accepted everything for what it was going to be but then I got a text from my partner and cameraman, Robert. He originally agreed he could get there at 1 but all of the sudden he had stuff to do before his vacation so he said he could get there at 2:45. At this point I just couldn't count on no one. I ultimately cancelled the entire thing and I'm working on moving the date to another time, knowing I'll have to do all of the work myself. I worked hard to make sure everything was in place and it didn't happen. I organized a ride and put stress on my parents for it to not happen. I even missed practice for track which I'm very committed to and it didn't happen. I will now have to do the same thing but for an entire different day. I will be positive throughout this though because it's just a bump in the road. This is Hunter Pangia clocking out and I'll see you all with the next blog.

Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
