Planning for the film!

 Hey everyone we hope you all are having a great day and welcome back to our blog! In todays blog we are developing are plans for our finals task, or our opening sequence you could say. These are our future plans that we have set but anything could change 

Props :

There are a lot of props that we will be using for our final task. We are using a picture of a couple that will be in the film, to introduce the conflict. We are also using a punching bag for the training scene, additionally we will be using some atheletic tape as well. A squat rack, bench, and other weights will be displayed in the background to further establish a tone. In the scene when were outside we will be using a jump rope and some water bottles shakers. 

Costumes:

The costumes that will be used will be boxing/athletic clothing. Hunter will be wearing a black tight shirt with short shirts, and Coach Zane will be wearing a collared shirt with a rag over his shoulder. Cayden will be wearing some cocky jock clothes to further represent his character. We are using these costumes to set the genre further, and establish what the film is about. The boxing clothes will show that this is a boxing movie since we only have the opening sequence to film. 

Schedule

On 2/22/23 our group researched all necessary information to establish our genre and research the title sequences as well as conventions

On 2/24/23 our group decided on a location list, schedule, props, and costumes

On 2/26/23 our group began to work on our storyboard 

On 2/28/23 our group has completed our storyboard 

On 3/01/23 our group began to film our final task 

On 3/05/23 our group continued to film the second half of our final task

On 3/08/23 our group finished filming 

On 3/13/23 our group began editing our film

On 3/15/23 our group finished editing

Location list:

Since this is a longer film, we will be filming at more locations. 

Our first location will be at a garage at a friends house, this is where we will be setting the tone for the movie. We will then relocate to a street for a scene as well as a gazebo which is when Cayden makes an appearance. Finally we will finish the opening sequence on a different street in our friends neighborhood. 

Backup plan:

If for some reason we couldn't use our friends garage, we will film at Hunter's house instead. If it is raining we will just delay the filming date because we have to be outside for this movie. If for whatever reason we don't have these props and costumes, we will improvise and wear something different.
