Still working on it

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia signing in and welcome back to another blog! I've been working closely with Robert on editing the music video and the music video is almost finished. After collecting and reviewing all the clips I have, I can say that my group and I have all the necessary shots for this music video. In our first scene a tilt is used to open up the music video. A few scenes later we use a pan shot to sweep the scene and transition into the next verse of the song. Additionally, the music video should meet the time requirement of 1:10-1:15 seconds. I have all the clips and with the proper editing, the music video should all come together and flow nicely. Here are some editing ideas that me and Robert came up with. I was thinking that for the first scene we should use a fade in with a curtain opening the scene. I already inserted some light effects that makes us light up which is cool. Another radical idea I came up with was using some dissolve editing for the sleeping scene. This will emphasize Trevor the actor sleeping as he is dreaming with a lot of happy thoughts. The biggest obstacle I am going to face is matching the song with the clips. The song isn't fluent meaning I skipped some parts of the song. I have to find the parts of the song to match the scenes and make sure the lip syncing is matching up with the song. I am not completely finished with the music video because I don't have the time. I still have to merge all of the clips with the editing and match the song. I'm feeling optimistic about this music video because I know my group and I are the best editors in the business. I've got all the possible tools for this music video and all I have to do is pull the trigger. The editing will be the most difficult task but with the right mindset I am going to have the best transitions. In school, I have been working hard on studying for my midterms this week. That's right, not only do I have a music video to work on but I have misterms as well. I'm pretty stressed about it but it will be okay. Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
