Putting it together

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia signing in and welcome back to another blog! After another week I still haven't filmed my music video but I've been productive none the less. This week I joined high school track for the first time. Practice was not as intense as I thought although it was still really intense. I don't think it was very intense because the track coaches put the football team through their workouts last summer. I enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends. Last year after football I did wrestling and I met a lot of great people as well. On top of this I learned some skills along with enhancing my mental toughness. This year I wanted to get faster and more athletic which is why I wanted to join track. I do get sore from practice but it's worth the "tracking" shots.  When I was running the track coach walked up to me and asked me to do field events as well. This includes discus, shotput, and other events of that sort. I will now be going to both practices to get stronger and faster. Besides sports, school has been going especially well. Ever since my season ended I have had much more time to get my work done. I feel less stressed knowing I have the time to do what I have to do. Even in this class as well. I am also excited for next weekend. I am going to film my music video with my group but also include some of my friends in the video for fun. Since it is Christmas themed, I am excited to get into the holiday spirit and have some good laughs and giggles. I finally have a solid plan set for the music video as I have stated that I for some friends who are willing to be actors. Some of my friends also have props that will greatly contribute to my music video. My one friend Ben has a Santa pajama suit, and my other friend Cayden has a Santa beard. This is perfect because I can't pay 50 dollars to see a real Santa and ask him to be in my video so I'm going to make a Santa. I will be utilizing what I have around me at the mall. Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
