Tis the Music Video

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and welcome back! This weekend is the weekend that I film and I am very excited. I have been keeping in contact with everyone that's going to be in the music video to make sure everyone is on track. So far, there is only two people that can't make it for the music video. I have thought of some great ideas that will elevate our music video. One of my ideas is having someone who is Jewish play the role of Santa Claus. Typically, there wouldn't be a Jewish person as Santa Claus but this is how we are going against conventions. In todays society anyone should be able to play any role they want, this doesn't mean they are going against what they believe in. In our music video we will also be having older students play the role of little kids. This goes against the convention of little kids being in music videos. By doing this, I am also fighting against ageism. With this music video there are some concerns that I want to address. Hopefully there isn't a lot of people when I am at Galleria mall because that would make it harder to film. Another concern I have is that the people at the mall might not even let us film. This would be very devastating because I honestly couldn't think of another spot to film. The day I am filming is when I am filming majority of the video so I need that time. I also hope that I can manage to film the music video the correct way. This is my first time recording a music video so I am very inexperienced when it comes to this. The time of the day may also be a possible factor for when I film. I'm filming mid-noon so hopefully I'll have enough time. There are some things I am looking forward to however. I'm excited to act out the music video because I am a very good actor. I also am excited to make a music video because I always imagine myself in one and now I will finally be in one. In two days I will be filming the largest project of my life. Things are looking good!

 Hey everyone this is Hunter Pangia back with another blog and I hope you all are having a great Sunday as you know I am. Today is the Super Bowl, so I will be watching it with family, but I wanted to update everyone on my progress. The props have been purchased and my group and I started filming yesterday. I got through the first opening sequence with them and it's relatively easy because I did one last year as my final task. It is more hard making it shorter as I only have five minutes to film this entire process but I am up for the challenge. Me and Kazmin have similar acting styles so it was easy to have that comradery. I got some good shots of myself plotting with Kaz with Noura filming. I was in my room with Kaz and I was able to get the part filmed where I was plotting how Kaz and I are going to make money.  This process took almost two hours which is pretty long. Short Film Research:Omnibus : Comedy

 Hey everyone, welcome back to another one of our research blogs. Today we will be digging in and looking into the Short Film Omnibus, a comedy. This film was made by Sam Karmann and won the Oscar in the 1992-1993 awards season. It portrays a Frenchman trying to get off of a train at a stop which it wasn't scheduled for.  In this film, the sound starts off as some cheesy movie intro, giving us this pattern that that's how a short film comedy should start. On the train in this film, all you could hear was the sound of the engine along with the dialogue between the Frenchman and the worker on the train. The idea of minimum sound is now starting to become a pattern we have noticed through the short films we have analyzed so far.  When analyzing the Mis-en-scene in this film, the costumes are usually oversized for the main character who has to well be humorous.
